Here are the shifts that need volunteers:
Contact Doug Skipper, 612-876-1408, to see what shifts are still available and to sign up. Other upcoming activities: The Research Committee will meet Monday, February 23 at 7 p.m. the Hennepin County Southdale Library, 7001 York Avenue South, Edina 55435. For more information, contact Brenda Himrich or Sarah Johnson. The next Fred Souba Hot Stove Saturday Morning, an informal breakfast gathering for the purpose of talking baseball, will be at 9:00 on March 7 at Bakers Square in Richfield (66th Street to the east of Xerxes Avenue).
Joe is the director of communications for the Catholic Diocese of St. Cloud and editor of its newspaper, The Visitor. Dianne, who works with Joe, is a photographer. Christian was involved in the city league of Woodbury, where they lived for seven years. Even though they are now in St. Cloud, the family enjoys getting to Target Field to see the Twins whenever they can. Joe tries to attend games around the country when he travels and has been to Dodger Stadium, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and PNC Park. Joes mom and dad were also Cubs fans and took him to Wrigley Field, where he saw Mike Schmidt hit four home runs in a game in 1976. Joe once had the chance to interview Kirby Puckett for a story they ran in their paper (the photo of him was taken by Dianne). Joe learned of SABR from the chapters Facebook page. Born in 1968, Joe shares his August 2 birthday with fellow chapter member Paul Manocchio as well as Grady Sizemore, Red Ames, Bombo Rivera, Luke Hughes, Tom Burgmeier, Huston Street, Matt Guerrier, Tim Wakefield, Colby Lewis, John Kiernan, Myrna Loy, Carroll O’Connor, Martha Stewart, Lamar Hunt, and Dingdong Dantes. Also new to SABR: Zack Siegel
